Beyond Pulse Teams Up with Langley United Soccer Association to Enhance Youth Athletic Development

Langley Township, British Columbia – Beyond Pulse is proud to announce its latest partnership with Langley United Soccer Association (LUSA). This collaboration marks a significant leap forward in LUSA’s youth athletic development, introducing player tracking wearable technology to their 2007-2010 Boys and Girls teams. 

The Beyond Pulse Smart Belt is designed to provide immediate data on essential performance metrics such as heart rate, distance, speed, and workload. This player tracking technology allows players to wear the device during training sessions and matches, enabling the coaching staff to access data through a user-friendly dashboard. The aim is to tailor training more effectively, monitor player well-being, optimize performance, and minimize risks of injury and burnout. 

Mark Parker, LUSA Technical Director, shared his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, "Langley United undertake a huge step in sport science by expanding our BCSPL soccer program offerings to include biometric equipment through the wearable Beyond Pulse product. This marks a significant stride towards modernizing our training methodologies and enhancing player performance analysis.  Integrating biometric devices like Beyond Pulse which is a wearable tracker and heart rate monitor allows us to gather data on players' physical exertion, endurance levels, and recovery rates. Metrics that will be collected are heart-rate, workload, distance covered, active participation, speed, high impact sprints, calories. This data-driven approach empowers coaches to tailor training regimens more precisely, optimize player fitness, and minimize the risk of injuries. Additionally, biometric feedback offers invaluable insights into individual player development, enabling personalized coaching strategies that foster growth and maximize potential on the field. By embracing this technology, we not only elevate the quality of our soccer program but also underscore our commitment to leveraging innovation for the benefit of our player development and success.”
